FAQ

What kind of massage do you offer?

I specialize in SargaThai. This modality combines the fascial release techniques of Sarga Bodywork with the rhythmic compression and stretching of Thai Massage to release tension at a deep level, and create lasting change. It’s incredibly grounding, slow, and effective for active bodies.

Sessions are available in-studio or mobile, where I bring everything needed to your space.

Who do you work with?

I love working with outdoor and adventure athletes— climbers, skiers, runners, hikers, cyclists… You don’t have to be an athlete, though. If you move your body and want to move more comfortably, you are welcome here.

What should I expect during my first session?

We’ll start with a full intake and check-in about how you’re feeling, what your body’s been up to, and what you want out of the session. From there, I’ll customize the session to your needs. Communication is encouraged, as this is a collaborative process, we will work together to meet your goals.

What do I wear?

Please come in (or bring) comfortable, stretchy clothing. Loose shorts are ideal, but comfy pants work great too. You will keep your pants on for the entirety of the session to maintain your privacy during deep, dynamic stretching.

Why do you only offer a minimum of 90 minutes?

My work is slow, intentional, and always customized. 90 minutes allows enough time for your body to settle, for deeper patterns to reveal themselves, and for the work to be effective rather than rushed.

Much of my work focuses on fascia, which responds best to slow, sustained pressure. Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around and links your muscles, joints, and organs, helping your body move as a coordinated whole. Fascia is a slow-adapting tissue. Stress, injury, dehydration, or repetitive use can cause fascial layers to become stiff and sticky, limiting movement and creating tension. Giving the tissue time allows it to soften, hydrate, and reorganize.

90 minutes gives us the space needed for this kind of work, leaving you feeling more open, grounded, and moving freely.
